시민들과 가까이 하겠다는 마음가짐이 돋보이는 거주지역에 다소곳하게 자리잡은 미술관입니다. 일회용 입장료와 카페에서 커피 한잔을 즐길 수 있는 금액이 포함되고 일정 기간동안 재방문이 가능한 콤보권이 있습니다. 미술관으로의 역할만 본다면 전시 규모에 비해 입장료가 적당하다 생각이 안들지만 재방문하기 좋은 위치에 계시는 분이라면 나쁘다 할 수도 없을 것 같습니다. 기념품샵의 제품은 다양하고 질도 좋아 보였습니다. 카페 커피는 무난했는데 플라스틱 컵에 내주는 것은 많이 아쉽습니다. 레드닷 수상, 대한민국 공간대상 수상 등의 우수하고 아름다운 건축물로 건축적 미학을 천천히 둘러보기 좋았습니다. 야외 공간이 넓어서 여유를 가지며 미술관의 매력을 즐기기 좋습니다. 화성시에 위치한 사설 미술관. 2014년에 오픈했다고 하니 이제 딱 10년이 된 지역의 문화공간이다. 아파트단지에 둘러쌓인 주택가 지역 한쪽에 자리잡고 있어 좀 의아한 장소에 위치해 있다는 생각이 들었다. 건물도 콘크리트와 컨테이너가 접목된 아주 독특한 구조로 지어져 있어 신선하다. 건물로 들어가면 바로 카페가 있고 왼쪽편으로는 2개의 전시실이 있다. 계단을 통해서 2층으로 오르면 바로 야외옥상으로 연결된다. 건물 외부에 꽤 넓은 공간이 있는데 잘 가꾸어지지 않은 풀숲이라서 뭐랄까 약간 방치되고 있는 땅이라는 느낌도 든다. 일정에 따라서 다양한 형식의 전시회가 진행되는 것으로 보이는데, 극히 모던하고 추상적인 전시가 많은 것으로 생각된다. 현재 전시되고 있는 'Hello World' 전시회는 무료로 입장할수 있지만 주차비는 지불해야 한다. 카페에서 음료를 마실 경우는 2시간 무료주차가 가능하다. 주차장은 비교적 넓게 조성되어 있다. 한번쯤...
