Having traveled to various accommodations worldwide and in Korea, I found the staff at Sono Belle Jeju Resort to be exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Even the housekeeping staff greet guests warmly, creating a pleasant and hospitable atmosphere.

The breakfast buffet is another highlight of the stay. It operates in two sessions, and early reservations offer a discount, which is a great perk. This morning, the buffet was very popular and bustling with guests, reflecting its great quality and variety. The selection was impressive, with a mix of Korean and international dishes, ensuring that everyone could find something to enjoy. The fresh ingredients and well-prepared dishes made for a satisfying start to the day.

One of the main reasons I chose this resort for our family trip was the extended 30-hour stay option. On weekdays, guests can check in at 9 AM and check out at 3 PM the next day, allowing for a more relaxed and enjoyable stay.

However, if you are assigned to Tower C, be aware that dining and activity areas are located in Towers A and B, requiring you to walk outside to access them. Since Jeju Island is known for its strong winds, this may be inconvenient for guests with mobility challenges. It would be even better if the resort avoided assigning Tower C rooms to such guests, making it an even more accessible and top-tier resort.

First of All the positive side of this hotel / resort: it has a nice location near the beach, the room is spacious and the first day it was clean. Here is the big big BUT:

We stayed in a family suite, it cost 149.000 won per night, the bathroom was really really old, and we felt uncomfortable. It was by far the unnicest hotel we stayed at but was on of the most expensive ones. Service was really bad, the room was cleaned every 3rd day!!! Believe it or not, the trash was untouched, the bed unmade, the towels for showering had the size of handtowels. We also talked to the hotel Manager but there was nothing He could or would Do, but give US at least a late check out. All in all i cannot...

Room rates are high unless you are a member of this resort. 95% of occupants are club members. If budget permits, I would recommend this property. Besides the room, you ought to try their restaurant which serves black pig barbecue. Rooms are well designed and spacious. Very clean and comes with balcony. My family booked 2 different room types and we were happy to have paid the room rate. It is also walking distance to eateries and the beach. You will definitely love the stay here. The supermarket close by also made things convenient. Should you have a rental car, be sure to be back early as they have a tendency to run out of parking spaces which...
