Near beautiful Hamdeok Beach in Jeju Island lies Haenyeo Gimbap, renowned for its gimbap prepared using clean local seafood. The signature fried shrimp gimbap and popular seafood ramen are oceanic delights.
Overlooking crashing waves, we soaked in the stunning panoramic beach views from outdoor seating decked with a refreshingly comfortable interior design.
Shrimp gimbap / 딱새우김밥 ₩9,000 It was very photogenic with its vibrant coloring, calling out to be captured. The fried shrimp within packed intense flavor while remaining light and moist. A hint less mayo would have balanced it perfectly, but overall the combination of ingredients was tasty and irresistible.
Spicy fried squid gimbap / 매오김밥 ₩9,500 Being the upgraded version of haenyeo gimbap with addition of fried squid, it tantalized with ink-hued rice and just the right zest. Plump squid bits burst with brine, enriched by mayo’s complement. Subtly spiced, the appertising combination ensured we couldn't stop at just one bite.

The view from the shop is absolutely stunning — you get a beautiful view of the ocean with the breeze coming in strong. It was super windy when we were there, but that just added to the charm and coastal vibe of the place.
A little long queue but it moved pretty fast. We ordered the shrimp gimbap (₩9,500), seafood ramen (₩11,000), and a Hallabong juice (₩4,000).
The shrimp gimbap was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The seafood ramen was also very comforting and nicely spiced, perfect for the breezy weather. The Hallabong juice was refreshing and sweet — a perfect match to the meal and the view.
Overall, it’s a great little spot to enjoy a tasty meal while soaking in the beautiful Hamdeok Beach scenery.
