Had a bad experience in Olive young Seongsu. I was at the Clio section earlier today, and two of the price tags already dropped on the floor. The first staff picked it up and tried to paste it back (it barely stuck on) and walked away. I then continued to browse and wanted a product. I saw no staff was free to assist me so I decided to take the product myself, because the new box was right infront of me. They have a strict policy of you shouldn’t take any products yourself at all even though the box is right infront of you. The moment I took the new box, the price tag from earlier dropped on the floor and a second staff saw it. She had short black hair with short fringe. She came over angrily and said to me “no open, no.” I apologised and she thought I was the one that spoilt and made the price tags drop on the floor. She angrily picked it up and tried to paste it back but can’t. Her colleague, a third staff, she is the captain of the store (according to her tag) with her hair in a claw clip, came over and saw her struggling with the price tag and whispered to her if I was the one that did it. Short haired staff said yes and was angry about it, and they both giggled and laughed. Second staff then angrily walked away to get more tape and angrily walked back to paste it back.
First of all, please don’t assume I’m the one that spoilt the tags just because I happen to be there the second time it dropped. It was already on the floor before that and the first staff already tried to paste it back, it was already loose. Second of all, this is such a small issue that can happen at any service industry (price tags dropping) there is no need for the captain of the store or any staff to whisper and talk and even gossip about the customer right infront of the customer. We do understand some Korean fyi. There is no need to be so uptight...
Read moreVisited the store in early April 2025. Asked for some products, but it was either : they didn’t have it or sold out. It was great to have kinda “complete” beauty & wellness sections, but it was overwhelming too. I like the female staffs on the makeup section. The staffs at the skincare section looked a bit confusing though. One most important thing that I want to complain about was there was this a guy staff at the self check-out section who was very rude to me. Maybe it took more than a minute for my payment to go through but he snatched my card from the card place, and tried to place it differently (I assumed he was annoyed that it took some time for me to leave the self check-out cashier). He tapped, he slid, he inserted the card roughly and quickly (frantically?) and he said “This card cannot, try another card” and I told him “I paid with this card before” he replied looking annoyed “In this machine?” and I said “In that machine” and he just left. I inserted my card, wait for a while and guess what, the payment went through peacefully.
Listen @ management, snatching people’s cards are rude and unnecessary. I know that crowded customers might make the staffs felt overwhelmed too, but being rude to customers who did nothing wrong, who were simply waiting for the payment...

A few days ago one of the workers of Active Skincare department said we could come by the opening of the testing service and reserve it but it turned out the reservation CLOSES at this time and they cannot do anything about it. However one of the workers spent 15 minutes (the time of the testing service for 1 client!) for talking to me. She could simply welcome my friend to the service instead of someone who hasn’t come to it apparently. Moreover, the worker was just chatting to her colleague before I came up to her. Absurd!
Guys, either learn English as you work for tourists as well or use a good translate to commute your rules. Because of this we spent 1 hour getting to this Olive Young and have to spend 1 hour back home ON OUR LAST DAY IN KOREA.
On this particular day there are just 30 clients. According to my calculations 30x15 minutes they could have still welcomed my friend to the service if the operating hours are 10:00-19:00!
Highly dissatisfied and WILL NEVER recommend this particular Olive Young to anyone. This situation ruined my day...
