Bagel Land Seongsu — Restaurant in Seoul

To preface this review - you can do a review and get a free plain bagel. But I’m writing this review without getting the free bagel bc it truly deserves it.

A short walk from Sengsu station Exit 4, this place was easy to locate and had a comfortable vibe. The bagels are put on display for you to take while the sandwiches have to be ordered at the counter.

There is a self bar where you can pick up the necessary cutlery, wet tissue, napkins, water, etc. You can also microwave or toast your bagel at the self bar which was a very nice touch.

We got the lox and the cheddar cheese bagel with an additional basil cream cheese. For the reviews saying the bagels are sweet - the cheddar cheese bagel was very savoury and was amazing after toasting for 2 minutes. With the basil cream cheese, it was even better.

The lox was generous with smoked salmon and there isn’t anything to criticise though the bagel itself is very slightly sweet if that bothers you.

Coffees (iced americano and latte) were above average and you wouldn’t come here for the coffee anyway.

I recently dropped by Bagel Land Seongsu in the late afternoon and couldn’t help but fall for the charm of their in-house-made bagels and the inviting scent that fills the air. They offer an impressive variety—sweet, savory, and everything in between—all freshly baked on site.

I tried the plain bagel with blueberry cream cheese—it was rich, fragrant, and just the right amount of sweetness. Their cream cheeses pair wonderfully with the bagels, offering balanced and delightful flavor combos.

Though I wasn’t up for caffeine that afternoon, I heard their coffee is amazing from other patrons. Instead, I sipped on a refreshing lemonade, a bright and tangy choice that complemented the bagel flavors perfectly.

I had an amazing experience at this bagel shop! The bagels were incredibly fresh, with a perfect texture—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I especially loved the variety of flavors; the golden bagel had a rich, buttery aroma, while the blueberry bagel had a subtle sweetness with real blueberry bits.

The iced coffee was also excellent, providing a refreshing balance to the bagels. The mint garnish in one of the drinks added a nice touch. The ambiance of the store was cozy, making it a great spot to enjoy a relaxed breakfast or afternoon snack.
