Seoul Iris Garden — Attraction in Seoul

This is a great little garden/park/historical monument/cultural complex gasps that is backdropped by beautiful raw rockface (which I believe is part of Dobongsan). The pandemic means the some or all of the interior facilities are occasionally closed, but there is a library, a museum, and cafes (including roof seating) in the bunker alone, which was a military defense against the invading North Koreans. The iris gardens are obviously best when the irises are blooming, but this is a relaxing and nice looking park at any time. Less than 1 minute walk from Dobongsan Station, this place is a peaceful gem. Small area, but lots of intriguing paths, spaces and things to see. It is adjacent to a small wooded park.
