The Yongsan Park Partially Open Site is where the US military officers’ accommodation complex was located previously when the 8th US Army was stationed here in Yongsan, Seoul. Currently, the site was returned to Korea in 2020 and opened to the public after remodeling, making it a popular photo spot. There is still a wall around the site, creating an exotic atmosphere distinct from the surrounding landscape. With a variety of attractions, including a lawn, cafe, open house, playground, and exhibitions, it’s a great place for families with children to visit. I went to college here, and it holds many fond memories. It reminds me of the burritos and pizza I enjoyed at the Town House in the Main Post, the tacos I had at Taco Bell, and the beautiful cherry blossoms that always bloomed in April. The entire site is not yet open to the public, so I‘m looking forward to seeing how the Main Post and South Post will be remodeled and opened...

Very random, but an interesting experience. A slice of US military suburbia in the middle of Seoul. Officer housing, duplex semi-detached housing with US style signage etc. Staff were friendly. There's a small museum/exhibition hall with history and some great exhibits, including architecture plans for the new...

The park is very small. It seems less than 5% of Yongsan Garrison(US army base) is open to public. It is free to enter. There are some picnic tables and playgrounds for families to hang out. Due to ongoing construction, there's not much to see. There are only a small number of venues and exhibitions to enjoy.
