Starfield Suwon Library — Attraction in Suwon-si

What an incredible site! The number of books on display is fantastic!

We went to the library on a Tuesday morning right after Starfield Mall opened at 10 am, and it was already filling up with locals and tourists who came to explore this library covering three stories (4th to 6th floors) on one side of the mall. Despite it being a library, most of the visitors seemed preoccupied with finding the perfect spot to take pictures of this fantastic sight. I had previously visited another Starfield library in COEX, Seoul, and to be honest, I felt that this one in Suwon, while appearing larger, didn't have the same "wow" factor. Feast of the eyes, just keep your expectations in check.

Visited the Suwon Starfield Library on April of 2024 and at first glance it was definitely overwhelming. Books shelved high as far as the eye can see. Definitely a nice cap to a day field with train rides and walking. If you are looking for a place to rest a bit after a long day of walking, by all means go to the Starfield Library. If you are looking for great photos to take, by all means visit. However, if you are expecting a grand library filled with books 360 degrees you might get disappointed. While the difficulty in securing a taxi back to Seoul can be a minor inconvenience, it doesn't overshadow the wonderful experiences Starfield Suwon has to offer.
