Disappointed. As a New Yorker, it was exciting to come across a bagel shop. Not even a shop, a museum as they call it. This is not a bagel. It was not crispy on the outside. Just a continuation of the soft breads that are Korean breads. It was also cold. No bagel is ever sold cold in New York. It was a lot of waiting. But we applaud the staff because they kept the madness organized and moving forward to the best of their ability.

Customers: please know what you want before getting in line. Your indecisiveness holds up the line and makes everyone wait even longer.

There’s a line to get in the store. There’s a line to get the bagels. There’s a wait to get at cream cheese spread or sides. Then there’s a line to pay. London Bagel is a well-known spot for bagels in London, and they’ve recently opened several branches in Korea. I went to the one in Suwon, and I have to say, I was really impressed. The café is small but cozy, with a relaxed vibe. They offer a great selection of bagels, all fresh and super tasty, and the specialty coffee was surprisingly good, definitely better than I expected.

There were plenty of selection for bagels and cream cheese- a heaven for bagel lovers. We tried the sausage jalapeno cheese bagel with pesto cream cheese and it was savoury and had a good bite.
