Definitely worth to visit. It's best to head there early at the morning and buy tickets advance through website or by arranged tour by touris info etc. The caminito del Rey is located about 1h driving from Malaga. It’s a very spectacular hiking path, once considered the most dangerous one in the world. But don’t worry, it has been completely secured and rearranged so it’s 100% safe now. 🤗🙌🏼 However, as the path is more than 100 meters above the ground, it’s still very impressive! Beware if you’re afraid of heights: once you’ve started the hike, you can’t go back. The path is only one way so you must finish it. If you want, you can book a guided tour to the Caminito del Rey. The guide will be with you during the whole hike and will give you information about the site’s history. These kind of tours are often fully booked weeks in advance, so you must book it in advance here. And if you also want to have transportation from Malaga to the Caminito, you can book a day-tour. Fare includes transportation by minibus from Malaga to the Caminito del Rey, entrance ticket and hiking with a guide. It needs to be booked there.

This is one of the best hikes we have done since we have been traveling full time 18 months ago. The views were spectacular and it helped that it was a beautiful sunny day. It was very busy however they space the groups up so you are not cramped on the walk and there are lots of opportunities for photos! We went with a tour group; the guide stopped a couple of times on the path to give us some history/information about the area etc. however we did not have to stay together while we walked and could stop when and where we wanted to. The path is very safe and is more like a walk than a hike so there is no concern if you are a little bit out of shape. You are high up if you are worried about hikes but you can hug the mountain side and hang on to a cable if you need to - there are spots were you can stop that are off the trail as well. We would do this trail again and highly recommend it!

Beautiful views. It takes a while to get there by car or bus, but the park itself is really well built and managed. You'll be required to wear hard hats the whole way. Trail is very easy, paved and planked the whole way. Though there are some inclines, and the last 1.5km getting out is sloping downward for long stretches with no shade from the sun. Also, some parts might be uncomfortable for those scared of heights. Food and restroom available at the start and end. Tips: bring a cap so you can wear it under the hard hat otherwise they give you shower caps 😅

Stunning view, these ending few hundred meters offer the best sights of the trail. The Caminito del Rey trail can only be started from the North point and ends in the South point. It's only accessible with a general or a guided tour ticket, which can be purchased online (recommend) or at the starting point. The trail is about 2h long, and it ends near this lookout point. Helmets need to be given back somewhat further down.

The most impressive part of your journey. The suspended bridge is short and it wobbles as you cross it. Absolutely amazing views. This is basically the final stage of your path at the Caminito del Rey when you started at North Access. You can see water dam, then some area with kiosk where you can eat and drink something. Bus takes you back to your parking. You easily find it, only 500 meters from this resting area.
