It is a great place for kids as it is packed with a lot of cool activities like a giant ball pit with slides, games, mazes and even a ball cannon, a ramp for toy cars and a trampoline… But…
It is lacking in terms of logistics and planning. It’s like it was created to have the coolest place for kids but didn’t think about how it’s meant to work.
On their instagram page, there were adults in the ball pit (which was great as I have a 15-month old who needs a lot of supervision especially around slides) but I was told this was no longer the case due to new rules and that they would be there to “watch out for him” but no one really bothered to pick him up when he got stuck in one of the climbing ropes and I had to get him anyway. (In fairness, this is an impossible task when you only have 2 attendants to do this in a place swarming with kids.)
And another issue is that only one adult is allowed in the play area but the toilets are in the play area and well for the change of adults to happen you need to aim this teeny tiny qr code attached to a toddler’s bracelet to the scanner to get in… so if you’re a parent waiting for your partner to come out and go through the qr code motions with a wriggling toddler, it does get uncomfortable so we stayed a total of an hour and left for a nearby bar instead…
Probably a harsh review of the place but I do not recommend this for anyone looking for a family activity. It’s more of a place where you leave kids… I also do not recommend this place for kids under 2 unless it’s reserved for a private event and you don’t have to worry about your baby being flattened by bigger kids.
All in all, I’m giving it a 2 for the fun concept but poor advertisement… it would probably be a good idea to remove all videos and photos of adults in ball pit from your Instagram… and maybe adding age limits in certain parts of the park considering staff limitations and the fact that parents are not allowed to follow their kids into the attraction to...
Read moreWe recently visited this play center with my daughter. On the plus side: the toys are all new, clean, and there’s a good variety — that was great.
But when it’s 35°C outside and the air conditioning inside doesn’t work — and no one warns you about it at the entrance — it’s a huge problem. I find it unacceptable, especially for a place designed for children. It felt inhumane. When I asked the staff to turn on the AC, the woman simply said, “They’re not working, there’s nothing we can do, we’re dying too. Sorry.” And that was it. No apology, no solution.
To make things worse, when we were leaving, we found out they don’t accept cash — only cards — and again, no warning about this in advance. Luckily, I had my card with me, but what if I didn’t?
Overall, I don’t recommend this place. We’ve been to many play centers in Barcelona, and this was the most expensive — and the...
