Very nice park hiding in one of the “Tres Turons” (Three Hills) of Barcelona. The Park Güell kind of acts as a wall so, apart from neighbors, not many people venture this area. It’s fair to say that it can’t compete in beauty with the Park Güell, but it has interesting aspects which make it a worthy place to visit, like the big square with a pond (converted in a pool in the summer) that welcomes visitors right at its entrance. Or the picnic area at the top with impressive views of the city. Or even the nice combination of flora it has, with cypresses, platanus, oaks, and palms, among others. The sculpture adds an artistic touch to this highly prized...
Read moreThe park looked so good on the pictures and we were really excited to visit it and to get to the Mirador of the park as well. So, the pool is really a very much for the neighborhood people since the beach is quite far from the neighborhood and it is a good choice for them. But definitely not worth getting there only for that. The park was okay, fresh air and beautiful plants. You can find interesting things like Bee refuge, pine trees and also an area for picnics with tables and sitting places. It was a bit tricky finding the Mirador area but you basically need to get out of the park and circle it to find the view area. It is worth it and an amazing view opens up in...
