A very beautiful beach :) We stayed in Cullera while at the Medusa festival, when the festival takes place the beach is a little busy but not too crowded, it is still very peaceful, enjoyable and quiet. One of the cleanest beaches I have ever been too. The sand is soft, the water is clean, although there are a loooot of jellyfish so be careful. There are also cats on the beach, living close by and they come for food and head scratches. They are so friendly. It says dogs are not permitted, but I have seen plenty of dogs so I am not sure if the sign is accurate. I would come here for vacation, not just because of the festival. Our festival experience wouldnt have been the same wothout this...

The beach is certainly the best thing about Culera. I'm sure it's really busy in aumm, but on a nice Friday in spring the beach and the town were very quiet. the city itself is a little sad. But the beach is wide and has many shops and restaurants that I expect will be open in high season. many were closed today. The beach is about 4K from the train station. I walked it with my dog in about 35 minutes. dogs are not permitted on the beach. It was 35 train ride from...
