Best beach around the area. There are white pebbles, no sand. Water is turquoise blue and you can either bring your own towels/sunbeds or rent them there for 30€ per day (2 sun beds and a parasol). Be careful of jellyfish as I seen a few of different sizes when bathing there. It was wavy on the day and got even stung on a leg as probably one of them was caught in the waves and it hit my leg.

We had snorkelling equipment but due to the waves the water was cloudy, plus the jellyfish presence made it not worth it, although I guess this depends on the sea conditions.

Parking is 15€ all over the place and for any amount of time. There is constant police presence at the entrance and parking lot so you must pay, else you will get fined in no time.

If you are fit and like hikes as we do, you can park for free at Cala Llebeig and do the trekking to Cala Moraig (approx 1 hr). We have done it first week of Sept and we only encountered another...

The beach is beautiful, mostly rocky with some sand towards the end. The views are stunning and that paths around the area are great. It's hard to find any shade throughout most of the day so if you need some shade take an umbrella. The water was very cold in comparison to all the beaches we went to in the Altea and Valentina regions. There is paid parking at the top, which is a flat rate of 12 euro per day. You can pay online or in the parking machine near the entrance. Do not try to park in prohibited areas as the towing guys are very efficient (in less than 30 minutes from the car being parked in a prohibited area it was towed away). One disadvantage when we were there was the lack of toilets, there were two portable toilets in the parking lot but locked. Maybe it was still due to the...

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon in mid May. Lovely mid twenties temperatures. The beach was very quiet and we parked on the hill coming down to the beach. I'd first visited this beach in 1983 and have been back twice since in 2010 and 2013. Doesn't seem to be as many pebbles as there used to be. Looks like the beach has suffered from the recent storms and there's just the one beach bar at the moment. We journeyed down the beach to the naturist end. There were a few folk on the beach - clothed and unclothed. I took advantage and decided to go for a naked swim. Such a lovely area to swim - the sea goes deep quickly so it's a case of walk over the pebbles and throw yourself into the deep blue ocean! Lovely place to visit and soak...
