Museo del Calzado — Attraction in Elda

I wasn't sure what to expect or if my husband would be interested. Well how wrong could I be, this is a really interesting place to visit and should be promoted more. Like most things in Spain it is extremely inexpensive to visit I feel the price could be raised but thats up to the powers that be. It's an historical account of the Spanish shoe industry with a room for all students in this line of work to research and oh boy what a room although i'm not sure we should have ended up in there. The museum has thousands of pairs of shoes, plus machinery that was historically used to make them. The staff were very friendly & helpful and the museum was spotless. Well...

This museum is an absolute must see! A fascinating insight into the world of shoes and shoemaking. It's so interesting - that people of all ages will enjoy walking around and looking at the different styles of shoes it's absolutely mesmerizing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Visité el Museo del Calzado en Elda y ¡me encantó! No es solo una exposición, sino un verdadero viaje por la historia, el arte y el talento detrás del mundo del calzado. En el museo pude ver cómo se fabricaban los zapatos antiguamente: máquinas, herramientas y materiales antiguos. Todo está explicado paso a paso, de forma muy clara y visual. Es fascinante y fácil de entender, incluso sin conocimientos previos. 👠 Hay una colección increíble de zapatos fabricados hace décadas y de distintos países. Cada par cuenta una historia. A veces olvidamos que el calzado no solo protege nuestros pies, sino que también refleja la moda, la cultura y la creatividad humana. Para cada ocasión: lluvia, deporte, celebraciones o el día a día — el museo muestra toda esta diversidad. Lo que más me impresionó fue ver los zapatos que usó Lola Flores, así como modelos de personajes famosos y familias reales. ¡Un verdadero tesoro!

El museo tiene un ambiente muy especial: salas cuidadas, buena iluminación, y una presentación que hace que la visita sea muy agradable. 📷 Compartiré algunas fotos que tomé para animarles a descubrirlo por ustedes mismos.
