Absolutely incredible nature, but a pity mass tourism is destroying it. You can easily see oil and plastic floating around in most beaches in Menorca. You pay fees to be in the island but it doesn’t reflect to proper care by government. There are nice rules in place but no enforcement, so for instance you’ll find people listening to loud music on the beach and boats crossing limited area which is in theory forbidden. Not so many garbage bins on the trails and lots of waste from people who didn’t care about taking your stuff back to town. Watch out for jellyfish, I spotted two while swimming today even though no flag was raised about it.
