Playa de Las Salinas — Attraction in Los Alcázares

Really great conditions for kite (that's why we came there... constant wind, flat water, safety to the bay). Unfortunately this place is an ecological disaster... The sand on the beach is sticky mud, there is a suffocating smell in the air of septic tanks, dead fish (which can also be found on the beach), dirty water, a lot of trash. We felt very bad after an hour spent there (we don't know if it’s because of the smell the air and water was polluted). Nice view on Mar Minor and La Manga city. Comfortable to walk on the beach, only sand, no stones. Sea is shallow, perfect for children and sub. Very clean beach, every morning the group of workers clean it up. But there is no cabins on the beach to change your clothes and no showers, only small leg showers.
