Chiringuito Bandera Azul "A Estribor" — Restaurant in Los Alcázares

We chose this restaurant based on some reviews but sadly it was not a great experience. It looks good but ... We, 3 adults with an 8 month old, arrived just after 2pm on a Monday. Chose a table and ordered drinks. The service was not great, not at all welcoming. The location is great and we didn't want to move on so we ordered food. One starter, 3 mains, A burger, a sea bass and a steak. It went down hill from here! The starter took a long time but was nice. The sea bass arrived first, on its own, which was half finished before the next main course, the burger, arrived! The steak arrived last some 25 mins after the sea bass! Then it was discovered that half the sea bass was not cooked! It was returned but reappeared after 10 min refilleted and recooked! In summary it was a complete failure as far as a restaurant is concerned. The waiter's excuse was that everyone came in at once! It was 2pm ...... That's lunchtime isn't it. Only about 50% of the tables were occupied, just a poorly run under staffed operation. I think the new owners should take a good look at their priorities, is it money or clients ... I think money is probably more important. We cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone and would suggest you avoid being disappointed and...

So overpriced compared to other places and service was very poor. We ordered drinks which never arrived and had to reorder them 15 minutes later. Food order took a very long time and each person served at different times (by 25mins). Food was below average. The “chicken sandwich” was breaded chicken and chips. Paella was burnt. Double the price of our lovely lunch at tipsy thistle. Would save your money and...

Shocking Service, came here last year twice and had a fantastic time. This time on arrival we had only been given 2 menus between 6 people, had to go and fetch the rest myself. 1 starter was late and brought out with main meals and nobody had cleared away plates so no room on table.
