Playa de Los Narejos — Attraction in Los Alcázares

I really enjoyed my visit to Playa de Los Narejos. The beach is very beautiful and, best of all, not crowded at all — perfect if you’re looking for a more relaxing atmosphere. The seaside bars and cafés along the beach are very good, and the staff are always kind and welcoming.

The water is warm, which makes it nice for swimming, although it can be a bit seaweedy in places. That didn’t bother me too much, but it’s good to know.

Sadly the Mar menor is getting contaminated pretty quick. The amount of organic and inorganic materials in some areas are making it unbreathable. The smells surrounding every beach are getting worst every month!! Motonautics should be forbbiden!!! And only passive recreation should be allowed! Local govs and private investors should try to invest on planting some weeds and plants that may improve the ecosystem at the shores and in the water. Gloomy panorama if no action...

Very nice place. The view, the sand, the entrance into the water. Not deep in the beginning and kiddos can safely swim there. I recommend. The water is very warm. We caught an amazing Blue Crab just a 8-10meters from the beach. We made a few photos and let him go. Kids were excited. But this is also a warning - your toes can easily get caught.
