Easy to get to but difficult to find. The motorway takes you very close to the village but the satnav was way off the actual location. Signposting is poor but it's worth persevering to find the entrance which is at the back of the village near a small circular carpark with an old millstone on display. We were charged two euros to get in which included a map. You walk down a slight incline to the riverbank. There are portaloos (unsignposted). Disabled access is difficult. There's lots of evidence of the river cutting through the valley over millions of years and numerous caves. There are actually two waterfalls. The first one is reached after a steep and slippery climb and is rather stunning. The second one is taller but less spectacular and falls right on the river bank. Below this point is a manmade weir without which there would be no bathing (which, according to the signs, is dangerous). The water was cold, about 10C, and probably doesn't get much warmer. We walked about five kilometres in all but you could do a lot less and still see most of the interesting stuff. There's lots of wildlife to be seen too. A most enjoyable,...

Lovely place for a swim or a walk.....but not good for the lesser mobile such as elderly or wheelchair users......as visitors have to park about half a kilometre from the entrance......and they audacity to charge for visiting a piece of river.
€2 to pay a grumpy woman to visit a filthy river with rubbish and broken glass all over the place.....and ignorant self-centred people blaring music into this lovely geological glen.
I have been visiting this area of Spain for over 12 years. Until recently, it was free......and much cleaner. Now, with a €2 fee, people are expecting their money's worth.....and are thus disrespecting the natural area more....expecting others to pick up after them. But that €2 per person is just being used to make a rich person richer. Expect nothing.

Read moreThere are two ways to get to this waterfall. The first is to go to Navajas, park up and go to Euro’s to get in. It’s just a short walk and the place is beautiful the other way if to walk from Segorbe on a main road which I don’t recommend or do the hiking trail which takes about an hour, isn’t that challenging just really beautiful. However, I strongly recommend you do not do it with a dog pushchair like we did! My friend had to carry the pushchair along big stretches of the track and carry it up some rocky parts of the road because there was no way she could push it. Luckily the dog was fine. I really recommend visiting this place looks...
