Casa Museo Modernista — Attraction in Novelda

I was amazed by this place! It had a lot of beautiful remnants from the era of Spanish modernism. As an artist I felt very inspired :) My only concern was the quality of service at the museum. We've arrived around 13:30 and the reception lady was talking with someone through the phone and showed us to wait a minute. By the time she served us it was like 13:40 and she told us that we cannot get in because it was too late. After some arguing she finally let us in and we ended up seeing everything and leaving the place before they close it. We're of course very grateful for that oportunity to see everything but the question is - was that arguing really necessary after all? Having in mind that the span of time in which this museum is open is really narrow and probably most of the people have to drive there by a car I think it...

Mi visita a la Casa Museo Modernista en Novelda fue un verdadero viaje en el tiempo a una época de esplendor artístico y arquitectónico. Desde el momento en que traspasé sus puertas, quedé cautivada por la elegancia y la belleza de esta joya modernista.

El edificio en sí mismo es una obra maestra arquitectónica. La fachada modernista, con sus intrincados detalles de hierro forjado, azulejos de cerámica vidriada y formas curvilíneas, es una maravilla para contemplar. Cada rincón de la casa está imbuido de la pasión y el talento del arquitecto, Antonio Sala, quien supo combinar elementos tradicionales con las tendencias modernistas de la época.

Explorar el interior de la Casa Museo fue como adentrarse en un mundo de lujo y sofisticación. Las habitaciones están decoradas con muebles de época, obras de arte y objetos que reflejan la opulencia de la era modernista. Quedé especialmente impresionada por el salón de baile, con su impresionante vidriera y suelos de mosaico.

El jardín que rodea la casa es otro tesoro por descubrir. Sus cuidados diseños de jardinería y la presencia de elementos modernistas como la fuente de los delfines lo convierten en un lugar perfecto para relajarse y disfrutar de la belleza de la naturaleza y el arte combinados.

La Casa Museo Modernista no solo es un testimonio de la creatividad de la época, sino también un homenaje al legado cultural de Novelda. A través de sus exhibiciones y recorridos guiados, pude aprender sobre la historia y la influencia del modernismo...

The building and interior is lovely and very good value for money. But beware that they say they only let visitors in at 10.30, 11.30, 12.30 and 1.15. We arrived just after 11.30 and inner gate was locked. We could hear voices so assumed we had just missed a guided tour. In fact it was just 2 members of staff talking in an anteroom and they didn't even come to open up at 12.30. We had to bang on gate and call out repeatedly to be let in, which I thought was...
