I really loved the walk around this forest park. It is beautifully maintained but still felt wild. The dogs really enjoyed it and were able to wander off the path and explore a bit. The wood carvings throughout the park are very skilled and beautiful, and added to the idea that you were in The Shires or Narnia. The path itself is fairly flat, but there are inclines, but as a person with mobility problems, I found these slopes to be just enough of a workout, rather than over-taxing me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Un bosque lleno de alma… que necesita más cuidado

El monte central de La Toja es mucho más que un bosque. Es un espacio vivo, mágico, un santuario natural que alberga una riqueza inmensa de flora y fauna. Para muchas personas que amamos y respetamos la naturaleza, este lugar es como una segunda casa. 🌳✨

Caminar por sus senderos es reconectar con una parte profunda de una misma. Es escuchar el silencio lleno de vida, respirar calma y sentir que aún quedan lugares donde la belleza es sencilla, real y poderosa.

Hace poco se colocaron unas esculturas de madera preciosas, hechas con mimo y dedicación. Sin embargo, ya han tenido que poner carteles pidiendo que no se suban sobre ellas porque están empezando a romperse. 😔 Pero el problema no viene solo de visitantes irrespetuosos: también hay una gran falta de mantenimiento por parte de quienes deberían proteger este lugar como parte de su labor.

Sabemos que hay menos operarios, pero eso no puede justificar que cuando se hacen podas o trabajos de limpieza, a veces se dañen árboles jóvenes o incluso grandes ejemplares por no actuar con el debido cuidado. Esto duele, porque este bosque no es un simple parque más: es un ecosistema delicado y especial, y su conservación debería ser una prioridad real.

No se trata de señalar con el dedo, sino de recordar que cuidar este lugar es responsabilidad de todos: visitantes, familias, senderistas y también los trabajadores que lo gestionan. Todos debemos ser parte de su protección.
