Okay I always feel like every MediaMarkt is kind of bad in the same way, let me explain. I went there to buy a chromecast, I walked around for a couple of minutes since it's always hard to find exactly what you need. So eventually I found similar products, even the older chromecast was there, the products were in the same place but scattered around. I noticed that the newest chromecast wasn't there, then I saw a google table close by with Google home products. I was relieved to find it there, so I looked under the table were the boxes where stored to find no chromecast there. I was like oh well let's try speaking with one of the employees, walked up to a guy who wasn't busy at all and amazingly he spoke pretty good English. So I asked him where do I find this device, he told me sorry you will have to ask the guys standing over there. (This is the major problem with MediaMarkt, seeing so many employees with nothing to do and if you ask them for help they just say that they only know about stuff i their station. I went over to the guys he pointed at, and saw one guy who seemed free to talk, tried to speak English to him and even showed the device that I was going to buy. The only thing he did was to point a the person standing next to him who was extremely busy. So I stood there for a couple of minutes waiting to get acknowledged, but nothing. He didn't even look at me as I was standing pretty close to him. So I thought I'll have one last look, I went to the back side of home /gadgets / assistant's aisle the find the casting device not close to where any of he other casting devices where. Feeling pretty disappointed with the service of the place, I went to the checkout. None of the not busy people either say welcome or goodbye. MediaMarkt has always been the least welcoming store and my least favourite big electronics store. With the product in my hand the least I can rate it is 2/5, pretty bad experience and unfortunately I'll probably come back.

I bought brand new 55” Samsung tv in Samsung days promotion. I watched TV for 2h and started again next day , after 5min TV started to turn on and off display by itself and only sound with blurry white screen without picture. What kind of garbage are you selling to your clients as new products with price of 975€ ? This is unforgivable, if it’s possible to give you -10000 star rating it wouldn’t be enough. Please avoid buying anything in this shop to avoid risk of something like this happening to you.

Para mi sorpresa me dijeron que como la tele tenia más de 15 días no me la podían cambiar y que la llevase a reparar. Parece ser que si la hubiese comprado por Internet si me la habrían cambiado por otra. Me armé de paciencia, no me gusta todo lo que se está haciendo hoy en día para promover el consumismo y que todo lo que compres cada vez dure menos y me sentía completamente engañada. Por otro lado me parece increíble que haya que leerse todo por el por si acaso algo sale fuera de lo común mo tiene ningún sentido que pagues tanto dinero si no te generan ninguna confianza. Fui a la tienda a repararla y la tuvieron como un mes. Más tiempo del que yo la había usado. Hoy por fin fui a por ella, ni que decir tiene todo el enredo y el peso que lleva tener que andar con un televisor para arriba y para abajo sobre todo si no vives en Palma. Me dieron la tv, en una caja cerrada. Comenté con la chica lo que me había sucedido y me dijo que le parecía surrealista, parece que si se me hubiese roto unos días después si que me la habrían cambiado porque la política de la empresa ya lo permitía. Me vine a casa y cuando la desenvalé ¡¡¡sorpresa!!! el pie ( los dos pies de soporte) no estaban. Tras quitar la tv antigua, de nuevo volví a ponerla y a llamarles, claramente muy enfadada. La chica que me atendió muy amable y paciente entendió mi enfado, "te llevarán los soportes de la tv me ha dicho y se pondrán en contacto contigo". Hoy es sábado, seguramente que hasta el lunes no sepa nada de ellos porque de momento ni me han llamado, además he estado mirando las reseñas y tienen una barbaridad de quejas y eso es que algo está yendo verdaderamente mal. Tengo una tv que he usado apenas 3 semanas, que ya me han tuneado cambiándole la pantalla y que ahora no tiene ni pies para poder usarla pero eso sí...¡¡pagada está bien pagada!! 😕😕😕😕😡

I bought a laptop in Media Markt less than 2 weeks ago and today I went there to return it as it is my right in the EU ( 14 days to try it if you like it). The girl seemed concerned ,then left for a few minutes to talk to her superior and came back, saying that i cannot return it because there are exceptions when returning an electric device, for example if it is dvd,cd, software ,etc.....thanks to the wonders of the internet I found that it is stated clearly what can and cannot be returned and since a laptop has a software in it but it is not a software itself but a device, of course i have the right to return it. As i have done before and never had issues. So I went back and started to explain this to now another girl who again left to talk to her superior, who interestingly this time told her to return the money to me.....(never showed up personally of course). I never expected this from such a big company that they would play with people's rights, never again...

He comprado varias veces en MediaMarkt, en esta tienda concretamente, y nunca había salido tan enfadada como esta última vez.

Fui sabiendo exactamente lo que quería: una cafetera superautomática de la marca Cecotec. Como el modelo no estaba expuesto, le pregunté a una señora del stand de Philips que estaba justo al lado. Aunque no era su marca, entiendo que los empleados están ahí para ayudar. Le enseñé el producto desde la app de MediaMarkt y, nada más ver que era Cecotec, empezó a decirme que era una marca muy mala y que no debería comprarla. Añadió que era una "marca blanca". Le respondí con respeto que es una marca española que poco a poco se está ganando un sitio en el mercado, sin entrar en discusión.

A partir de ahí, su actitud fue totalmente condescendiente. Me preguntó si sabía lo que era una marca blanca como si no tuviera ni idea, y siguió hablando mal de Cecotec, todo esto llevándome a otro lugar. Le comenté que tenía varios productos de esa marca y que estaba bastante contenta, a lo que me respondió, con un tono despectivo: "Será usted..."

Además, me llevó a ver cafeteras semiautomáticas, cuando yo le había enseñado claramente que buscaba una superautomática. Ni se molestó en mirar bien el modelo. Volvimos al lugar inicial, donde tampoco vió el producto, y empezó a decirme que quizá solo estaba disponible online o que no había comprobado si estaba en esa tienda concreta. Le dije que precisamente por eso había ido en persona.

Me soltó que no todas las tiendas tienen los mismos productos, comparándolo con El Corte Inglés grande y pequeño, aunque en la mayoría de los casos los electrodomésticos están en ambos y si no se pueden encargar. Básicamente me dijo que me fuera al MediaMarkt del Fan que era más grande, sin saber si allí lo tenían o no.

Al ver que me estaba molestando, me dijo literalmente: "Voy a buscar a alguien de Cecotec, porque yo soy de Philips." Llamó a otra empleada de MediaMarkt, que parecía amiga suya. Le expliqué lo que buscaba y su primera reacción fue decirme directamente que el producto “era una mierda”. Cuando vio que no me interesaba su opinión, tomó la referencia y fue a buscarlo al almacén.

Al final lo compré porque era el último día de oferta y solo había ido a por eso. Pero sinceramente, la próxima vez que tenga que elegir entre MediaMarkt y otra tienda, me iré a la otra. No entiendo cómo pueden vender un producto y al mismo tiempo tener empleados que lo desprecian de esa manera. Entiendo que era de Philips pero no hay razón para tratar a los clientes de esta manera.
