Bodega Fernández Bolet Ronda — Attraction in Ronda

We visited in mid February and thoroughly enjoyed our tour particularly around the vineyard itself. The tasting took place in the owners delightful home and each wine was matched with delicious locally sourced foods. Our host Anabel was friendly and charming and made us feel most welcome. In our opinion, the wines are exceptional. They are not always conventional, the dry Moscatel and Rosado with a hint of smokiness being examples of this. It was our first time in Ronda and we had the wine tasting here. The vineyard was lovely and the owner, Alonso & Ana Isabel, couldn't have been more helpful, knowledgeable and fun. The wines were terrific, specially the Chardonnay – Secreto de Sumario, but credit goes to our hosts’ charm and warmth which made the wine tasting an absolutely exquisite and entertaining event.

Would highly recommend if you are looking for an uniquely local experience (Make sure you ask about the origin of the wine’s names).

We discovered the Secreto de Sumario Chardonnay in Luma Beach Marbella last summer, and decided to visit the winery our next visit. We discovered that they make also a very nice range of red wine & some other very tastefull white wines.

Our favirite is still the Secreto de Sumario, now 2022. But we also loved their red wines, espacially the Su Señoria (Petit Verdot 2016) & Con La Venia , are really fabulous!

Hope we can enjoy this wines soon back home in Belgium.
