5 stars to the guys who are watching the kids at the pool. They are amazing. They see everything, swim perfectly fast and do their job no matter what. 4 stars for pricing. You have to pay for everything. Your ticket doesn't include a sunbed and a place where you can keep your things. 3 stars for food. Chicken was really awful. I could not even look at it. I additionally ordered fish. Fish was good. But a lady doesn't speak English. I asked only for fish but she added chips and some baked tomato which looked like it was there a week. Prices for this half eatable food is really high.
Now to people who is attending the pool. First of all, watch the hell your kids. They can not swim well and when the waves are high they can drown. Thank God the boys saw a kid and in a second was near him. Second some people behavior was like they have never been anywhere. They looked like they came from wild. I am not talking about the kids. I am talking about adults. If you come with children what lesson do you show them? If your children don't want to try to slide down the slide why do you make them? Why do other people who came to have a rest have to watch all this drama? Do you have brain?
In general this is a good place if you come and stay in the pool. Next time i will take smth with me and go to car to have a bite. They don't let you in with biscuits or smth like this (because I don't want to eat their food, my daughter neither). Everywhere queues. So be ready to stay in the sun 30 mins. Don't forget your sun cream, esp for children. If you like to make videos take a waterproof pouch for your mobile phone. To avoid entrance queue buy tickets online. I don't know why the website was not working but i could not add 4 tickets to my basket. You need a desktop website. Mobile (Android) does not work....
Read moreNice Aquapark. A bit too expensive (39€ for people larger than 1.20 meters) for what it offers in my opinion. Also, renting a locker costs 5€ (+5€ deposit). Deck chairs cost 4€, but we didn't use them since there is plenty of grass with both sun and shade, and we were in the water most of the time. If you like action, you will like the AQUAXJUMP slides in the XTREME Zone (16 years+). Waiting times were okay (2-20 minutes depending on the slides) on a Monday in mid July. If you want to eat vegetarian or even vegan, you will have a hard time. Almost no vegan options (even the french fries come with mayonnaise by default), and the veggie options seem to be the most expensive ones (e.g., veggie sandwich with egg is more expensive than all the other ones with meat, veggie burger is not available in the burger menu, you have to wait longer for it, and it costs about 50% more than the meat burger – also, mine had no sauce, only a patty and salad, pretty disappointing). [Dear Aquabrava team: Please offer some more vegan/vegetarian options (for a similar price than meat alternatives), e.g. a vegan baguette/sandwich or a veggie burger included in the burger menu. Even flexitarian meat eaters will sometimes chose a non-meat option if it is available and has a similar price or even cheaper.] You cannot bring food (they will check your bags when entering), only water in plastic bottles (which I would heavily recommend, water is 2€ for a small bottle and the tap water tastes absolutely disgusting). I think you can leave the park if you prefer eating outside, but double check on their homepage FAQ and inform the staff before leaving to be...
Read moreMy family and I enjoyed a great day in the park. Ample entertain for our boys( 4 and 6), with a mix of chilling on Pirate Island and sampling some of the bigger rides (height permitting). Have seen some complaints about price in other reviews but not entirely sure they are justified. The entry price is comparable to other similar theme parks we have visited, and the food, while basic in quality, feel the prices were fair.
However, we did have 2 gripes: -the lack of basic recycling bins for bottles/cans, even/especially around the food areas. Found this personally quite poor, especially when the paper cups have “recyclable” written on them…
we were witness to several acts of, in my opinion, discrimination. From the staff, to paying guests. On 3 occasions we saw women wearing religiously appropriate clothing, were forbidden from using attractions as a result. One woman was not allowed to ride one of the slides, another had an altercation after having already been on the AquaXjump as there was apparently a difference of opinion between the staff members in registration and the lifeguards by the pool on said garments suitability, and another 2 women were prevented from entering the wave pool. As someone who has worked in outdoor activities and has come across such issues, the only reason this should occur is on the grounds of satefy. However, i fail to see any legitimate grounds whereby these women should have been prohibited from these activities. I would appreciate, as i’m sure they would, an explanation to this...
