Bodegas y Viñedos Olmaza — Attraction in San Vicente de la Sonsierra

We spontaneously drove by without an appointment but we were right away very welcomed by Raul. Despite a small language barrier it was one of our best tasting experiences in the region. Their wines are balanced , full of elegance and different from what we tasted so far. Not only did we get the opportunity to taste the wines we were also served with a nice plate full of meats and bread and got to taste the new 2022 vintage from the barrel. I highly recommend their wines and a visit to their estate....

Bodegas y Viñedos Olmaza son realmente maravillosos. Fui a visitarles con las mejores referencias posibles y aún así superaron mis expectativas. Nos atendieron el padre, que es el dueño, y su hija. Ambos fueron encantadores y nos trataron como si fuésemos de su familia. Se les notaba la pasión por lo que hacía y por su forma de vida; se podía ver como les brillaban los ojos y el orgullo que sentían cada vez que contaban algo de sus vinos y viñedos.

Nos dieron de comer queso y chorizo de la zona, bebimos varios vinos de diferentes tipos, a cada cual más rico. Puedes notar en el sabor del vino ese amor que le ponen. Te cuentan historias y anécdotas de todo tipo, y se preocupan constantemente de que estés a gusto. Sin duda para mí uno de los sitios más auténticos, bonitos, con encanto y esenciales de visitar de nuestro país.
