Museo Moto Histórica — Attraction in Santa Marta de Tormes

What an amazing place.

We randomly found this on Google maps while we were in the local area so decided to visit.

Free of charge to enter.

A great selection of bikes across a range of ages, all in excellent condition.

Not sure if this is a private collection that someone has decided to share or possibly a municipal collection? (Someone of influence within the local government has a passion for bikes?) Either way I have no idea how the bikes have been purchased, the building maintained and staffed with no entry fee.

What a special museum! I knew nothing about motorcycles going into the experience but the museum is laid out in such a way that even someone with no understanding of the machines can learn how motorcycles work and how they have evolved over time.

It became clear very quickly how special of a collection the museum holds.
