Last year, on November 24, I bought a refrigerator worth just under €500 from Euronics in Quesada, rojales next to Konsum. I used it for two months. When I came back on June 25, the refrigerator had only worked for one day. I went to Euronics and reported that it was under warranty. That's when the drama began. They recorded it and told me it would take about 10 days for a technician to arrive, and that was in 37 degree heat. Then I asked for a loaner unit, and after 3 days and a lot of phone calls, it finally arrived. The technician came, looked at it and determined that the fan was defective. He told me it would take 10 days because it came from China. After 10 days I had to call and he told me to contact the manufacturer Hisense because he hadn't received the replacement part. What a disgrace. Euronics said what should they do about that. Two balls of nerve. Maybe they'll take care of it when they have time. Now 4 weeks have passed and it still hasn't been repaired and I haven't had a call from Euronics. That's about Euronics'...

Read moreGreat place for doing your weekly shop. Lots of parking, but avoid the carpark for a supermarket called consume, because that has been designed by the clinically insane (Insert screaming emoji here)! Everywhere else is fine. :) I recommend a little shop called El Dorado (just across from Mercadona). There, you can buy take away paella (fish or meat) and some other nice bits. We often popped in there after a morning at the beach, and ate it at home, before our Siesta. It's open from 12pm to 3pm but it's very popular. so get there before 2pm is my advice. There are restaurants too, but in previous years, we found them a bit lacking, so didn't bother this time. We like Mercadona best (so much choice and cheaper than Lidls!), but Lidls is handy too and familiar if you're homesick. :D You can fill up with petrol as well. It is self service, but there was a person there to help with any confusion. Tourist train stops here if you don't have...
