:) A public beach that actually has every public service you should expect. :) Lifeguards are active here most days. Only missing points are no public drinking fountains and nothing really for shade / seating (for elderly etc). Kids park has also been removed due to construction and repairs to area. This beach and area does have clean, free accessible toilets and showers that are open at times for normal people and families. Toilet paper is not provided but most people who use these bathrooms regularly do leave some out for others. Free parking is available for those who drive (need to sometimes pay locals who charge €1 to €2 to "guard" your vehicle). Bus service is possible and at hours that service the community and island. Area is under redevelopment and refurbishment so expect construction in this area for the next number of years. Airplane traffic overhead can be quite noisy. Fish farm off the coast could possibly contribute to swimmers icth. At least there are publicly available showers :) Maybe they will have installed the first working public drinking fountain at a public beach anywhere on the Canary islands by the time their construction here is done. Yes, that is correct, it is 2022 and there still are no public drinking fountains anywhere accessible on Gran Canaria or all the islands despite EU laws and regulations regarding this. Speaking EU laws and regulations wheelchair users, handicapped and mobility impaired persons are limited to locations to enjoy on all the islands especially when need do business. This beach is a GOOD example of considering all the public - not just those who do their business in the ocean or along the streets like the pets. Good for having public services that work, are clean and staffed by friendly and attentive people. Good work...

Bonne visite. Best regards. Éric Tison F-57 Féy (Metz....
