Ermita de Los Dolores — Attraction in Tinajo

We visited the Ermita de los Dolores while exploring Lanzarote, and even though we’re not religious, it was still a lovely stop. The church itself is beautiful to see from the outside, and the peaceful surroundings make it worth a visit. Rather a church than erimitia (hermitage). A place of St Mary's cult - most important in Canary islands as they say. It's a part of the island original history without the corruption of tourism (ish they will charge you to light a candle, but when it comes to your tax declaration they ask you to donate to, if donating to the church why do you have to pay to light a candle) I guess God works in...
