Review of Aqualand Malaga I recently visited Aqualand Malaga with my friends, and I have to say, it was a disappointing experience overall. While I expected some long queues and slightly pricey food, the reality of our visit was much worse than anticipated. **Entry and Facilities:** We paid 35 euros each for entry, which already felt quite steep. Upon entering the park, we were unable to find a single seat or locker. This was a major inconvenience and not a great start to our day. For such a popular attraction, better facilities management is essential. **Rides and Queues:** The waiting times were outrageous. We queued for 45 minutes just to get a donut ring for one of the rides. This was extremely frustrating, especially since many people weren't returning the rings promptly, leading to a severe shortage. After finally securing a ring, we had to wait another 45 minutes to get onto the ride itself, all while standing in the scorching heat. This double wait time was beyond frustrating and put a damper on our excitement. **Food and Service:** The food situation was another letdown. We stood in line for 25 minutes only to be served subpar food at exorbitant prices. To make matters worse, our order was incorrect, and the staff refused to fix it. For the amount we paid, both the quality of food and service were unacceptable. **Overall Experience:** While I understand that water parks are popular and waiting is part of the experience, the level of disorganization and the overall value for money at Aqualand Malaga were extremely disappointing. If I could go back in time, I would have opted to spend the day at the beach or by a pool instead. The stress, long waits, and poor service just weren't worth it. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Aqualand Malaga. Save your time and money and choose a more relaxing and enjoyable option for your day out.

We went there in a group with 6 adults and 4 kids. We had somewhat big expectations to this park after seeing the flyer and the pricing only to find out that this place is a total rip off. You pay way to much for the entrance regarding the attractions(30/Adult) you get, you pay for locking your stuff (5€), and then you pay again for the sunbed (4€ till you leave it, 14 € for the whole day ). You can pay an extra 15€ for a fast queue wrist band but that doesn't seem to make a huge difference because what I experienced nobody really cares for that, people were just riding. For little kids, maybe up to 8 years it's a great place to have a fun time no question. But for adults it's just not worth it. The place is (even under the week) heavily overcrowded to a point where it just doesn't make sense to queue anymore. Standing literally up to 1 hour for a ride in 30° isn't really fun at all. The park itself looks kinda sordid every here and there. Dirty stairs full of bird-do a somewhat rotten construction that looks like something that was a Minigolf course before, just an unlovely impression in general. The food is completely overpriced too. The pictured fries cost 5€, the burger plate 10,50. No sauce, just ketchup (0,2€) Lifeguards are really annoying after a while because they just spam their whistle at everyone. Pretty annoying when you're sitting near one for a while. One of us got kicked out the water because she was wearing a pair of sunglasses on her head. Kids were not allowed to wear a sunhat in the jacuzzi or elsewhere in the water (hat pictured) The "jacuzzi" by the way is just bubbling cold water. In general the place is just no recommendable.

We went in the summer holidays and arrived at 10, had to queue to get in, which was about 5-10min, we went on the slides first thing and enjoyed a few rides until massive waves of people came in so we had to queue for rides after we've only went on 3 short rides, then we had lunch which was kind of worth it since it was €15 for a pizza which was big and we shared it between 3ppl which we were satisfied about, after lunch we queued for about 90min trying to get on a ride which we thought was worth it (Lamina,NOT the photo attached), when we went on the ride it was about 1min and a half of darkness and a small drop at the end(NOT worth it), I'd suggest queueing for other rides and don't waste your time on that ride. We also went on the kamikaze, which is the massive drop slide, quite fun, we enjoyed it. We also went on the foam slide, which was surprisingly better than we thought it was. Then, we went to the wave pool because all the other rides after lunch had SUPER MASSIVE queues, the wave pool was really dirty with leaves and i even found a plaster in the water. and we wanted to go on the boomerang, which had a big drop at the end,but the queue were too big, you had to queue for the swim tubes and the ride, which would probably take you about 90+ min to even get on the ride. My daughter fell and had to go to the first aid, the medic was super friendly and nice. The sunbeds were very expensive at €14. TIPS : Arrive at 9:45 or earlier so u can get on more rides before massive waves of people come. Bring your own lunch if you don't want to spend a fortune on your meal.

💦 🏊‍♀️Aqualand Torremolinos 🏊‍♀️💦

Recently visited the Aqualand water park in Torremolinos, Malaga. We pre purchased tickets €37 as well as fast passes €15. The price of tickets being bought on site are more expensive than being bought online. This is the same for fast passes.

We arrived 5 minutes before opening time, 10am. There was a long line but it moved super quick. Tickets are scanned at turnstile gates. After entering there is a separate line to pick up fast passes or purchase them. This is the same line for lockers so it can be long.

🔐Lockers🔐 The lockers cost €11 for the day. You receive a token coin to put into the locker. They are big enough to fit a backpack and a few other bits. The key is on a band that you put around your wrist. When you are finished you return the token and get a €5 refund.

📱💦Phone Cases💦📱 The shop sells waterproof phone cases for €16. However if you have purchased a locker you get a €6 discount on the case making it €9.95 which is great. We purchased two and were able to carry our phones around with us. They stayed dry the whole time.

🚽Toilets🚽 Toilets are situated in multiple different locations around the park.

⏩⏩Fast Pass⏩⏩ I highly reccomend purchasing a fast pass. Compared to other parks I’ve visited it was so worth it for €15 extra each. We did not have to queue for any ride! Even during the mid day when big groups were coming in there was absolutely no wait for fast pass holders. For some rides you have to bring a float up to the ride with you. There was always one available for fast pass holders however those without the pass had to wait at the bottom of the ride for a float to be available. They also had quite a long wait at the top of the ride as well. For two of the rides there are no signs indicating whether fast passes can be used. We were waiting with the majority of the people in the line when a group of people with fast passes skipped up through the line. Once again there was no wait for the most popular side in the park for fast pass holders!! If you have a spare €15 I would 100% use it for a fast pass.

☀️🛏️Sun Loungers🛏️☀️ There were loads of sun loungers scattered around the park. The majority having an umbrella with them. These are €5 each to rent for the day. We did not opt for this. We laid our towels on the ground in the same area instead for free.

🍔🥤Food and Drink🥤🍔 We did not try any of the food or drink in Aqualand Torremolinos as where we are staying is all inclusive and we knew we had a yummy dinner waiting for us back at the hotel. From what we noticed there were two food places and three places to get drinks.

🛍️🤑Shop🤑🛍️ There was a shop onsite that has drinks, goggles, towels, swim suits, swim shoes and lots more. Teddies, toys, magnets, waterproof phone cases etc.

💦🛝The Rides🛝💦 All of the rides were super fun! Some are definitely more suited for thrill seekers but there is something for absolutely everyone. There is a mix of single, double and triple rider slides. Some rides needed a float which you collected and the bottom and walked to the start of the ride with. Other slides you didn’t need anything. You can wear slides/flip flops walking around. The workers just ask you to put them on your hands when going down the slide. The bigger slides require you to cross your arms and legs. All slides allow the waterproof phone cases on them which is super! Mix of levels for slides and also a kids splash park. There is a wave pool which generates the waves at certain times.

Overall we had a great time at Aqualand Torremolinos and would definitely return if fast passes were available. Without these you have a long day of queuing...

Water Park Visit Review: A Fascinating Encounter with Crocodiles

Visiting the water park was an enchanting experience that exceeded all expectations, especially for a crocodile enthusiast like myself. From the moment I stepped through the gates, the atmosphere was vibrant with the sounds of exotic birds and the laughter of excited children. The layout was thoughtfully designed, making it easy to navigate while ensuring each exhibit felt like a unique adventure.

One of the most captivating and unexpected features of the water park was witnessing the crocodiles themselves riding the water slides. The design ingeniously incorporated these magnificent reptiles into the attractions, allowing visitors to see crocodiles gliding down the slides alongside them. The sight of these powerful creatures effortlessly maneuvering through the water slides was both thrilling and surreal, providing an unforgettable experience that combined excitement with a touch of the wild.

The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the dedicated crocodile exhibit. The water park featured an impressive array of crocodilian species from around the world. Observing these ancient reptiles in spacious enclosures that mimicked their natural habitats was both thrilling and educational. The exhibit was designed to offer multiple viewing angles, allowing for close-up observations of these magnificent creatures both in and out of the water.

The water park's commitment to conservation and education was evident throughout the crocodile exhibit. Informative plaques provided fascinating insights into each species, their behaviors, and the conservation efforts in place to protect them. I learned about the unique adaptations of crocodiles, their role in the ecosystem, and the challenges they face in the wild. The staff were knowledgeable and eager to share their passion for these incredible reptiles, adding an educational dimension to the visit.

The facilities were top-notch. Clean restrooms, ample seating areas, and well-maintained pathways made for a comfortable visit. The food court offered a variety of options, catering to different dietary needs, and the prices were reasonable.

For families, the children's area was a treasure trove of interactive exhibits and educational displays about crocodiles, allowing kids to connect with these fascinating animals in a hands-on way. The water park also hosted scheduled talks and feeding sessions, which were both informative and entertaining. Watching a crocodile feeding was an unforgettable experience, highlighting the power and agility of these apex predators.

In conclusion, the water park provided a perfect blend of entertainment, education, and conservation, with a particular emphasis on crocodiles. Whether you're a reptile lover, a parent seeking a fun day out, or simply someone looking to reconnect with nature, this water park offers something for everyone. It’s a place where you can marvel at the wonders of the animal kingdom and leave with a deeper appreciation for the incredible diversity of life on our planet. Highly...

The best phrase I can think of after visiting this place is "Money Grabbing".

On a so called deal, it cost over €120 just to get in there. On arrival they're out in the carpark milking you for €2 just to park. There were huge queues and despite pre-booking and having digital tickets... Their scanner wouldn't read them and afyer showing them my confirmation email, they allowed us through. The usual mad dash for the prime sunbeds was in full flow when we got inside. People running around like their lives depended on it. We proceeded to the children's area with our 8 & 10 year old. Once settled with some loungers... It wasn't long before we were approached by a staff member asking for €5 rental for each sunbed we had. So another €20 before we'd even dipped a toe in the water. The kids areas were pretty good in fairness... Well laid out so we could see them both from our beds. Nice shallow water and plenty of lifeguards watching over things.

Then lunchtime came. Yes you can bring your own but if you would rather avoid all the prep and lugging a big cool box about then the restaurants offer mainly junk food from around 1230. Yes it's convenient I get that and it saves the ballache of shopping and prepping etc. But the prices are crazy. Over €55 for two medium pizzas and a few drinks. Plain greedy and not the best quality at all.

If you have children who will want to go on any of the bigger slides outside of the kids areas... The only way to even remotely enjoy the day is to... Drum roll... She'll out more again for a 'Fast Pass' . Despite the obscene entry costs... The queues for bigger rides are crazy. You're looking at 20-30 mins on average for each turn you take. Which is, in most cases over in less than a minute. However... If you buy the Fast Pass at €20 per person, you can shoot straight to the front as you have a seperate queue. But what this means is... Fast pass holders were going around and around 4-5 times for each turn we got. And they get priority at the front... So if there's fast pass holders waiting, the normal queue doesn't move at all until they're gone. It was painfully slow and frustrating. To boot... There's little to no shade in any of the queue areas.

Cleanliness wasn't great at the park. Fag ends everywhere in the grass occasionally finding their way into the pools to join the plasters, hair, insects and grass floating about already. Toilets were swamped with (probably) mostly water... But inevitably urine... Which people were traipsing though bare footed before getting straight back into the pools.

To summarise, it's a hideously over-priced day out. And without a fast pass, a complete waste of time. They charge at every opportunity and that cost is not reflected in the experience you receive at all.

For a 2.4 family, expect to come away €300 lighter. Genuinely, just let that sink in. This is a water park.. Not a space expedition. Would I recommend it... Absolutely...
