I never post negative reviews but i really feel its important to let other unsuspecting families/ tourists know. This place is an absolute rip off. €40 for 1 adult and 2 children plus €15 for a photo with a baby croc. There are literally 6-7 crocodiles here in one small enclosed area at the back of the tiny park..the rest of the pools outside were empty except for a couple filled with terrapins and tortoise. It took me 15 minutes to walk around whole place..other families where looking as disappointed as us. I went back to reception to ask if i had missed out on where all the other crocs are to be told they only have those few in the back of the park but in a couple of weeks they have more and they will be outside. I thought this was something that should of been stated when paying for tickets. I ended up leaving and asking for a refund for the photos as it would of meant us just hanging around looking at terrapins for 45minutes. The following day we went to the Selwo marine park ..€85 for 4 of us and had an amazing day..dolphin show, parrot show, penguin talk etc..much better value for money. I seriously wouldn’t waste your holiday spends going here. There is so many other things to do that are much better value for money. When we visited here pre pandemic there were literally hundreds of crocodiles, live feeding shows, an educational talk etc its just gone very downhill from...
Read moreVisited the park today, very expensive for what it is as it's really small and pretty much all the crocs are in the same area; you wouldn't need more than a couple of hours here. The park was very quiet which worked out in our favour as we got good views of everything. We couldn't spot which one was Big Daddy unfortunately.
The exhibition/talk/feeding was very good and the man who gives the talk is good and knowledgeable, and let a couple of the younger visitors have a go feeding the crocs.
The main downside to this visit was the crocodile holding/picture experience. There is a small charge to hold the crocodile then an extra charge to have a picture (which you must pay before the picture is taken). We paid for myself and our 5yr old son to have a picture but once there,he got scared and didn't want to do it. The staff offered for him to have an adult with him, which he didn't want and I didn't want another photo; they then refused to give a refund despite him not having even held the crocodile (they also did this to another family). Only after we expressed our annoyance did they (reluctantly) give the refund. Two out of the three staff were very rude. The older gentleman (who does the talks) was more polite.
I wouldn't visit this park again and unless you're a massive crocodile fan, I wouldnt recommend this place as it currently is, for the price you...
Read moreThe only good thing about this park is for family of children below 5. and child above that age forget it. If I could give this no stars I would. Half an hour and we had finished the park its self. we payed for 2 of the younger children 13 and 11 to have a photo take with a young croc but they wasnt aloud to have there pic taken together even though there was parents haven photos with there children the two boys wasnt aloud there's together even after a complaint to the people who were doing the photos they were just extreamy rude. they also made it impossible for any one to take a photo on a camera. for €10 for experiance then an extra €5 for one photo and €10 for 2 pics all I can say it is disappointing. 99% of the crocs are Nile crocs and it only take about half hour to walk round. Unable to interact with the crocs (unlike a few parks were u can give them a type of hot dog at a price), we didnt go on there guided tour as being to gator land and a few far superior places this was very poor. ASPRO who own this need to pull there finger out and sought out there parks aqualand and crocodile park. Your company need to look at places like gator land, Australia zoo for habitat and interaction. and general running of the place. ADVOID NOT...
