Really bad experience, besides menu being written with some online translator, calling pork steak "parrot steak" the food was really bad quality, a chicken curry being simply a grilled chicken breast with some supermarket type curry sauce poured over. Rice overcooked, salads served without a hint of seasoning nor any offered at the table. Steak was just fat with some meat in it... The nearest thing to Italian they have is a photo of the Colosseo on the menu, the rest isn't. Service non existent, disinterested and verging on rude, had to ask 3 times to two different waiters for a drink to eventually get it 30 minutes later. Place is shabby and minimal, not a good sight or impression. Room was extremely noisy , had to almost shout to hear each other at the same table. To top it all they only accept cash, no cards....won't be using the place again, if there was an option I would give it 0 rating, have eaten better in sandwich...

If you spend €30 or more in one transaction, the seller cannot insist on cash

Long before the pandemic, a massive crackdown in Spain on all types of money laundering and tax evasion, and even hitherto 'legal' tax avoidance, meant cash came under rigorous scrutiny – legislation passed almost exactly three years ago paved the way for today's ever-growing panorama of people walking around with empty purses when shopping.

Royal Decree, or Bill of Law number 19/2018, of November 23, covering payment services and other urgent measures pertaining to financial matters, states that if the sum payable is less than €30, establishments do have the right to require cash-only payments.

But once the amount reaches €30, all traders are obliged by law to offer other payment options besides notes and coins – which can include debit or credit cards, cash cards, mobile phone applications, or even bank transfers depending upon the type...

I have visited this restaurant many times and have always found the food consistently good and extremely good value. They have a lot of regular customers and the service is friendly and professional. They have recently extended their restaurant space by taking over the restaurant next door, a good sign that this is a flourishing business.The menu includes a large selection of pizzas, steaks, chicken, pork, fish etc all served with a choice of sauces, salad and a choice of chips, jacket potatoes, or rice and of they also specialise in pasta dishes, the owners being from an Italian background.
