Well of course is one of the many ‘hidden’ calas in always shiny and beautiful Costa Brava but is generally crowded. I wouldn’t mind that much for the crowds in the beach area but there are several (way too much, enviromentally speaking) boats, sailboats and private ships from all over just docked there, making the experience a bit invasive. There’s a nice staircase leading you to the beach area which for some people could be a bit challenging.

A beautiful little beach in a cove only accessible via 300 steps and climbing over rocks and through the sea. Totally worth it. There is also a small ledge cut into the rocks on the right hand side to walk along. Great for a a photo opportunity of the beach. Park your car at the top of the road, walk about 400 metres down the slope then attack the stairs!! Beautiful.

I'm a local. This place used to be one of my favorite spots in Costa Brava. However, tourism is killing the peace and beauty of this area. Water was dirty because all the trash thrown by boats (at least 3 sensation boats full of tourists were here playing music out loud and making a mess). I love Costa Brava and I love Catalonia and I'm really worried we are destroying it. We want tourists that take care of the beaches and, sadly, we are getting more and more trashy rednecks that come here to get drunk and destroy our...

——— Chances are you’ve already seen this beach, it’s got Costa Brava written all over it. Mainly accessed by boat you can also park your car up next to the road. Just, again, don’t leave anything in sight! The way down through the stairs is fine, but be aware to wear comfy shoes as the last part before the actual beach involves getting wet up until your knee or crawling on some rocks. You can also take a look at the rocky cape before leaving!

And plan to be there not too late in the afternoon, as the orography of it forces sun to leave this beach unattended much quicker than other...
