The 'Lifeguards' here are a joke. We went here yesterday, only to be greeted by a red flag. Apparently it was too dangerous. I was looking forward to a nice swim, so was very disappointed. However, rules are there for a reason. A few people instead decided to wade in the shallows, only to be rightfully told by the 'lifeguards' that that wasn't even allowed. However, meanwhile, very far from the shore, at the last bouy, there was a guy on a paddleboard, for a least an hour, surfing the waves, who they choose to ignore. Instead of disciplining the guy, two lifeguards instead went out to join him surfing the waves, constantly going in and out from shore, not once disciplining the guy, with the result that other surfers decided to break the rules, and so followed suit. Meanwhile, us swimmers had to suffice with sitting on the sand. If the 'lifeguards' don't set an example, how do you expect others to respect it??? What's the point of the 'lifeguards' here if they're not...
