Gustavsbergsbacken — Attraction in Östersunds kommun

This is not a large ski resort so the 5 stars is here compared to other ski hills of this size. It has a small but good rental that will also repair your gear for a good price. The ski hill has a few slopes of varied difficulty and quite the decent park at the end of the season. The ski passes are actually very cheap and you even get a good discount if you are a student. I really like that a few T-bars are made for the snowboarders which makes riding the lift a comfortable experience.

There is however no restaurant but there are a few nearby. Just 5 minutes away you can find Tages restaurant.

I have payed a higher price for worse ski hills around Sweden. Finally, I recommend going here to get ski and snowboard lessons from the skilled instructors working...

The small hill elevator is for free, very nice. The snow was like ice and too hard to learn on it. There was no hot beverages or any food available(maybe becouse it was januari the 1st, i do not know) The view is awesome, looking over the city...
