Fredriksdal offers plenty of tranquil spots to work outdoors, allowing creativity to flow in a refreshing natural environment. The well-preserved farm animals add a special charm, and the historical exhibits provide a fascinating insight into Swedish rural life. Don't miss the historic skittle alley! The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring our event went smoothly. Whether you're interested in relaxing in nature, organizing a unique event, or just working outdoors in a beautiful setting, Fredriksdal has something for everyone. I went with my husband who is from Allerum. I am American. I loved this place. My favorite was the thatched house, I had never seen a house that old before and the tiny beds were very cool.. I also loved the maze and the people who worked there were the nicest young people! So many nooks and crannies to explore. The general store and the printing store were unbelievable. Oh yeah and the gorgeous 19th century pharmacy! In a pen there were pigs and a huge fat one would follow me every time I walked by it and I named him Gus wanted to take him home. I was very impressed, nothing like that in America.

It is a large area with a wonderful atmosphere. There are several flower gardens, herb garden, apple orchard historic buildings where you can see how people lived in the 1700s 1800s. There are fields with animals like goats and horses. It is a perfect place for a trip with the family as there is also a nature playground for the children, it is also perfect for a picnic as there are many cozy places you can sit down you can for example sit in the yard at a 1700s building and enjoy the peace and the beautiful nature. In the middle, there is a café where you can get coffee, cake, cold drinks and ice cream.

Definitely not worth the entrance fee of 100 SEK. About 75% of the park is just grassland/meadow with in totaal 2 cows walking around. A big part of the botanical garden is also just sand or grassland. There is absolutely nothing going on besides some nice lanes to walk through and a few old Swedish buildings that are nice to walk by. Besides that, it feels like you're just walking through the Swedish nature which you can do for free about everywhere. Only for children this might be a nice place to visit.

A nice discovery in Helsinborg center. It’s an open air museum exploring Skane through flora and fauna. i was with kids and they had much fun. There are interesting activities for them including painting and stamping some flowers/leaves. There are some museum corners too, but most information is in Swedish. If you decide to visit the place, you should go with your lunch, there are wonderful picnic areas. We spent more than four hours there and it was fun.

My 2nd experienced was better than the first time. We actually explored the park more. They have this small town inside the park where they have different interesting staff to see. Like Graphic museum, they have art exhibit. It cost 100kr to get in but it's all worth it cuz everything inside is for free except the fika if you dont bring your own picknick basket.
