Kyrkön — Attraction in Ljusdals kommun

Lovely place to visit, even if you are just passing through or staying there a couple of days.

Stretch your legs and take a walk around the the little church island. Perfect spot for a picnic on the backside of the loop walking track.. Basically half way around.

Don't forget to pop into the church which was built 1837.. Järvsö is a beautiful place, so if you have time, visit also Järvzoo.. Ok it costs to go in, but so so worth it!

Alternatively at no cost Take a walk to the top of Järvsö klacken.. (Pic 6) Here you can see the hill (klacken) in the background.. 30-40 minutes walk to the top, 400 meters up, the views are stunning!

There is also a little Stuga (Cabin) up there so you can have a bbq.. Best views as always are sunrise and sunset.. Take good walking shoes.. Beware if it is or has been raining.. The track is very stoney and becomes very slippery in places! The track itself is quite steep... So do as I usually do when I start getting tired and just start thinking that what goes up, must come...
