Gärdet — Attraction in Stockholm

You will most likely get off at this station because you are going to Värtahamnen and take a Tallink Silja cruise.

The station is a waste of space: the walking traffic is considerable high due to its closeness to the ferry terminal and, yet, there is only one sad coffee place and small convenience store.

Don't expect much from this station, if you forgot to buy something (like a toothbrush, cigarettes or so), probably you will not get...

Nice place but you can't switch currency on ticket-desk. If you need to switch euros to kronas, you can do it at pressbyrån. The ticket automates dont take cash, only SL-card or visa card... But the tunnelbanastation itself is usually peaceful and is close to the Silja Line terminal in borough of Gärdet. The entrance is kinda hidden...
