If you're craving authentic Thai food while in Stockholm, Aiyara Restaurang is the place to go! Every dish tastes just like it does in Thailand—flavorful and full of the vibrant spices that make Thai cuisine so unique. The restaurant is a must-visit for Thai people who are visiting Sweden and miss the taste of home. The food is absolutely delicious, from the Pad Thai to the Green Curry, Massaman, and crispy Pork with Holy Basil. Prices are very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality you get.

The restaurant is clean, and the ambiance is friendly and welcoming. What's truly special is that all the staff, including the chef and the owner, are Thai. The owner is especially kind, engaging, and always ready to take requests. If there's a dish you want that’s not on the menu, feel free to ask—the owner will happily make it for you, and it will be just as delicious as anything else on the menu.

I've been to many Thai restaurants around the world, especially in Europe, and this is the first time I’ve found a place that truly serves authentic Thai food. Many restaurants claim to serve Thai food, but the taste and presentation are often far from what you'd expect. However, Aiyara Restaurang is different—everything is spot on! The flavors and the quality of the food here are even better than many restaurants in Thailand.

Aiyara Restaurang serves a range of dishes, including Pad Thai, Chicken with Cashew Nuts, Green Curry, Panang, Massaman, Crispy Pork with Basil, Som Tum (Green Papaya Salad), Tom Yum, Karaage Fried Chicken, Spicy Glass Noodle Salad, Chu Chee, and Red Curry with Roasted Duck. Whether you're a Thai food lover or someone new to the cuisine, you won’t be disappointed.

Highly recommended for anyone in Stockholm looking for a taste...

The five star reviews are not lying. Looks like a regular Thai place, but this is easily one of the top places for Thai food in Stockholm. The pad thai is creamy and with fresh spices, and with lots of big shrimp. Chicken one is delicious too.

Edit: Something seems a bit off lately. What I think was the owner was there saying “these Chinese people don’t get anything” about the (Thai) employees.

One of the employees came up to us and offered small thai ice creams. Since he did not mention anything about pricing we thought it was a small gift. We were charged 100kr for the ice cream.

Sadly, since these incidents I no longer feel like supporting this restaurant. I hope it gets better, the staff usually are really kind, I feel like they have been forced to trick people into “buying” the...

It looks at a first glance like any other thai restaurant in town but it´s not! The products and taste of the food is of very high quality when you compare to the price. You get great value.

This is mostly thanks to the owner that works there too. She told me about how she tries to perfect every dish all the time to make a greater experience. Also she is very kind and talks with the customers which makes the approach very personal too. She was also willing to make dish that wasent on the menu for me.

In the summer its a really cosy outside to eat at.

I think the curry here is the best asian curry I have eaten in Stockholm, and I eat alot of curry!

All in all: Great taste, great quality, great value and great...

This is a local restaurant and subsequently does not have a menu for patrons who can't read Swedish or Thai. That being said, the staff are lovely and will do their best to explain any dishes or answer your questions in English. Most likely your favourite Thai dishes will be there, and you'll be able to pick out the dish name without any trouble. Portions are reasonable for the price, and the food tastes good - I enjoyed the taste of my Massaman curry, although I would've liked it a little thicker. Note that the curry dishes do not come with rice, so you'll have to ask for a serving of rice if you'd like some. Take away is available (and very popular), and the restaurant is also wheelchair friendly.

The grilled pork was way too dry and hard, not easy to chew on and gave no pleasure of eating. The Tom Kah soup was a bit too light and the soya noodles were soggy. The mint with duck salad was nice though, a good combo of savory and acidity, and spicy to the Asian standard. When I mentioned my food allergy, the staff were very confused. Also they were not very keen on table service even though they took the orders by the tables and the dishes were served to the tables, it was really hard to get them to the table to order more dishes, and eventually we had to go to the front desk twice.
