Strandbad Brienz — Attraction in Brienz (BE)

Had a great day here - arrived around 11 but parking directly outside the entrance was full so we parked the other side of the Main Street. Great space and reasonable entry fee plus hire of parasol (€3 with €2 given back as you leave and return it) we bought coffees and Ice creams but didn’t eat other food. We spent the last day of our Switzerland holiday here when the sun was beaming and had such a lovely time swimming in Lake Brienz - I didn’t want to leave!

We paid 4 CHF entry as we had the local tourist card which was worth it as the Strandbad had changing rooms, toilets, was clean and well maintained and also a restaurant / cafe if you wish. Bring flip flops as the pebbles do hurt your feet when getting in and out of the water!

Beautiful place great staff very friendly and approachable. We came here 3 times over our 4 day stay at Brienz. We felt very safe to leave our stuff on the beach. We rented two paddle boards for half a day and our stuff has been untouched. Although I would always recommend using a waterproof bag for your phone and keys.
