Sasso Corbaro Castle — Attraction in Circolo di Bellinzona

Today, the castle was closed (on short notice, according the lady at the counter) from 12.30 - 14.30h due to a private venue. The was only a small note at the entrance indicating this. There was no mentioning at the bus stop below (busses run only every 2 hours) nor online. We had to walk down again in the heat. At least an update on the homepage would have been the minimum. We are not impressed by this communication style. Given one person of our party had a walking disability, therefore we planned our visit carefully and checked the information...

The lady working at the Information desk just dont know how to treat people. Wanted to ask her a question after her finishing a long conversation with an other client, when I approach her she claim she wasn't finish with the other lady...ah and she was histerical as we where 2 people in her entrance even though we kept distance....just discussing reaction....can not blame covid 29...

Considering the fact that the castle was built in only 6 months, it is a truly impressive piece of architecture. While it is located quite far off the center, you can easily reach this place with the touristic train (nice ride, by the way!)
