I booked a guided tour from Lucerne, which picked and dropped me to Lucerne but booking a guided tour is not mandatory if you can sort the transportation Once you reach the base point you need to go to the entry office Tickets can be booked online or brought at the counter. One advantage of the guided tour is that your tickets will be pre booked and you need not wait in the line Once you get your ticket, your journey starts from the base First you take a cable car to the second base point, this journey is filled with greenery, fog and views of Titlis filled with snow. It takes about 10 to 15 mins to reach the second base point From the second base point you take a 360 degree rotating ice car which gives you an experience of panoramic view of mountain ranges Once you reach the top you have 4 floors. The top most floor is where you get out into the snow and also visit the bridge. I. Between floors are shops of souvenirs and chocolates Once you get out of the snow, you can visit the bridge, take a snow ride or go into an open cable car which is amazing. The mountain ranges are picture perfect. Just enjoy the views. If you're lucky you won't get a lot of snowy fog which just whitens everything. Once done playing in snow you have to come to the ground floor again to take the ice car which takes you to the second base point and then again take the cable car to the base point. In between there is a stop at the lake, you can get down the cable car and visit the lake and board the cable car again to the base point Overall it took 6 hours from Lucerne to Lucerne
