I wish that I could recommend this place, but the food is unsafe and the hotel staff does not seem to care. Our room included breakfast, but one morning while I was eating the hotel oatmeal, I felt a surprising crunch. I spit out a large chunk of glass and ran to the bathroom and washed multiple other pieces of glass out. I had a cut on the inside of my mouth that wasn't a huge deal but it was pretty uncomfortable. I was concerned about the safety of other guests, so I went to inform the front desk. The individual working took the piece of glass that I had brought down along with the jar that the oatmeal had come in, examined them, and confirmed that the glass didn't come from me breaking the jar but was pre-made into the oatmeal. They then took the glass and did not even offer an apology, much less some sort of token of their apology like a free drink at dinner or something (I really wasn't expecting much). Upon check out I was feeling pretty frustrated about the experience and brought it up to the front desk again. I was very polite but mentioned how dangerous this was and that I was feeling upset about the experience. Her response was "well, I can't do anything about it." She honestly seemed angry and annoyed that I even brought it up. After checking out, she asked me to wait a second. She then returned with a complementary jar of salt and finally said "sorry." I am upset that the food was unsafe, but I am probably more upset that no one even bothered to apologize until I was leaving and raised the issue a second time. We were paying $400/night our last night there. I expected safety and a minimal degree of customer service and kindness from those working there. I was greatly let down. Truly disappointing because the hotel and mountains are beautiful. If you plan to visit, I would definitely not eat there.

Wish the water was a tad hotter. Everything else was great! I mean, the breathtaking view? check. Various water spa areas in the pool? check. Steam sauce with a view? check Naked dry sauce? Umm, check. Fresh tea? Check. Changing rooms to showers to pool is a great two way street. There are doors on two sides of the changing room, so you can enter from one side and exit to the showers and lockers. After the showers is the pool. Great set up for families and couples, as well as for individuals. The pool is gorgeous and wonderful, both inside and outside. The waterfall provides great massage, but don't overdo it. Bring sunglasses to hang out at the outdoor pool, as the view is gorgeous, but also very sunny! It isn't cheap, and the price only includes admission. Bring with you: towels toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion) robes sunglasses They do have hair dryers! Thank you!! After a go-go! tight schedule for 3 days straight, we really needed this relaxing time, especially after a wonderful hike up the Rigi. Breathtaking views and total relaxation!

Mineralbad & Spa Rigi Kaltbad is a must-visit retreat that combines relaxation with breathtaking alpine views. The journey to the spa is part of the magic—take one of the scenic cogwheel trains from Vitznau or Goldau, and don’t miss going all the way to Rigi Kulm for panoramic vistas before descending to the spa. The facilities are clean and thoughtfully designed, with complimentary water available or you can purchase other food and drink . A word of advice: pack a towel from your hotel, as renting one + robe costs CHF18. The spa’s no-phone policy enhances the tranquil atmosphere, allowing you to truly disconnect and unwind. Convenient showers and changing rooms make it easy to freshen up before or after your visit. Overall, it’s an unforgettable experience and the perfect way to immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Switzerland’s Alps. Highly recommend.

First of all, the fact that they require a 60 CHF gondola ride just to get to the spa is ridiculous. The spa can’t be reached by car. It's unacceptable that this wasn't disclosed when purchasing admission, and it feels like they're trying to trick people into spending more money.

Once you finally get there, you’ll find the view from the spa pool is very tiny and definitely not worth the high price of admission. The prices should be lower during off-season. It's frustrating that the pictures they use for advertising are misleading and don't accurately represent the actual experience. It feels like false advertising. No robes or shoes are provided. This spa is not luxury. It’s a clear sign that they don't value their customers.

The massage was even worse than the view. It felt like I was barely being touched, and it was the worst massage I’ve ever had. It's unacceptable to charge such a high price for such a low-quality service.

The staff is just as disappointing as the massage. They're rude, unapologetic, and lack any empathy or urgency. It's hard to relax when you're constantly dealing with unprofessional and unwelcoming staff. They seem to care more about enforcing processes than providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for their guests.

Speaking of rules, there are way too many of them. It makes the entire experience feel restrictive and overwhelming. The spa is supposed to be a place to unwind and de-stress, but instead, it added more stress to my life.

To make matters worse, the entire spa is very loud. This is not the kind of environment you want to relax in, and it's not worth the high price of admission.

Overall, I’ve been to spas on 5 continents and this was the worst. I would not recommend this spa to anyone. The gondola ride, the underwhelming view, the false advertising, the terrible massage, the unhelpful staff, the overwhelming processes, and the loud atmosphere all contribute to a very unsatisfying experience. It's not worth your time or money, and you're better off finding a more relaxing and enjoyable way to spend your day. There needs to be significant improvement. I certainly won't be going back, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, and if I could leave 0 or negative...

We went there to spend a relaxing weekend after the hard week of work. I booked as a bday gift for my friend a massage session "queen of the mountain" for 75min for us as a girls time. Staff was late for 5 min. When we went inside the room i was massaged by blonde lady with glasses and my friend by a male massuer. So, first of all lady was rude to me when i was undressing bcs i covered myself with bath robe because she was holding just small hand towel as a cover and she said rudly that here is nobody cares. They didnt ask if we need "one- time-use underwear". After she start to massaging me i said that she can do massage a bit harder but she didnt reply..No word.. Nothing!! And she just continued to do really softly.. She also scrached me few times with a nail, i said to her that smg scraches and she again didnt reply but then i repeat myself and she said really angry "i heard you! Would you like to have more massage or what??!!" After that i was in shock and didnt want to ruing time for my friend and she continued.. All this time during session of course i couldnt relax and also got cold (they covered us just with that same hand towels smg like 40×60cm.) After she finished she appologised but also added bcs i said things to her and i said that usually massuers always asking for feedbacks during session. So, i left with really bad feelings and even more unnecessary stressed. 330chf just went in the trash and mood for a day was ruined! Just for notice, my friend enjoyed her massage (so thanks to this man) but she was desturbed by this situation as well. It just shows how one person in team can ruing experiense for a customers!! its unprofessional and really dissapointing!

About spa itself: 1.- just 1 steam room and 1 sauna a bit to little for such a place Big minus- in pool outside you are like a show for people which are standing on the top.. whole groups of tourists and etc. are looking down freely to outside area of pool. Tourists are filming and making pictures of pool and people in it. Somebody even flew with drone to film the pool. Would be nice to make a cover for that area. for the plus- great view, nice...
