What in incredible find. We just happened to be killing some time before meeting friends for dinner when we found the ruins. This is a step back in time. I wanted to know so much more. Maybe site around the fire pit and listen to a historian tell more about its purpose and the surrounding area. It’s a very quick and worthwhile side trip on your way to Lauterbrunnen. Highly recommended.

Our family enjoyed this landmark as part of a morning trek we took from our Airbnb to another event, and it was beautiful! Really neat historic spot and would recommend, especially being free. Just a note for little ones, there are some steep stairs with little to no guardrails. Our kiddos did fine, but just worth knowing.

It's not a spectacular place, but I enjoyed it a lot since I'm a lover of lost and ruined spots from the passage of time. There are some slightly dangerous areas, but nothing that an adventurous spirit can't overcome. The views are very beautiful

Our family enjoyed this landmark as part of a morning trek we took from our Airbnb to another event, and it was beautiful! Really neat historic spot and would recommend, especially being free. Just a note for little ones, there are some steep stairs with little to no guardrails. Our kiddos did fine, but just worth knowing.
