Well-maintained trail, moderate-easy for an experienced hiker. 600 m elevation gain over 5.5 km from the carpark (approx. 3.5 km to summit from Google pin), approx. 1.5 h (door to summit) at a leisurely pace with no long breaks. Some sources suggest a start at Zhaoping Station but this is really not necessary. Second half is steep and more challenging. If you are tired at the point the track splits off to Zhushan Station, I suggest turning back.
Decent views at the summit, although the railings at the observation deck are annoyingly high. Eastern view obscured by permanent structure, so not suitable for sunrises.
