While walking towards Sulphur Valley the view is awesome for the mountains as well as Fogg coming out from Valley around. There is also a hot spring there which people can dip their feet and relax. During evening time the view of the valet looks very beautiful. It was raining little and due to rain there was some water in the mining area. At some places water was so boiling which one can spot very easily. Beautiful view in the evening and I can imagine if one goes in morning it would be much more pleasant in morning as well. Read moreSulphur Valley Recreational Area is easily accessible by transport bus from Beitou. Within the recreational area, there are several viewing spots which offers great viewing over the valley.
The hike uphill to the different viewing spots is rather moderate with low-raise stairs. Total time my wife and I took to complete the hike was less than 30min. Further uphill you could see thermal vents (photos uploaded).
Foot bath was closed when we visited during mid-April 2023. Some segments of viewing area was also closed for renovation.
