Taipei Public Library XiHu Branch — Attraction in Neihu District

This is the second floor and it provides spaces for self study. It has power socket in every space. Really nice and quiet. The basement has one whole floor for self study with no book shelves. It provides sockets only at the desk around the wall and u need to have library card to make seat reservations. You can do it online or on the spot. Once booked, you can occupy seat at basement for whole day till u perform check out. Toilet not available on basement. Water dispenser is available at basement. Second floor has a balcony too. The photos here are for second floor and it has toilet and water dispenser. Nice place to spend whole day here. Library in Taipei closes on public holiday and on the first Thursday of every month.

One more thing- free internet is available! Isn’t that great? Come early if you want to get a seat on second floor as they get occupied...

Amples of children books both in Mandarin and English. A little play area for kids to sit and read. At the time of visit, most patrons here know proper etiquette to keep things quite while using the facilities here.

My only gripe with this place is that it lacks air circulation. So if you aren't sitting near a window. It may feel...
