金烤盃（寵物友善餐廳） — Restaurant in Neihu District

I was very skeptical of the high Google rating. I thought the pet friendly aspect was the main reason so many raves about this restaurant. The pictures of the dishes also did not inspire confidence. So glad that I was wrong as we enjoyed a fabulous family meal here on a Sunday night.

This is a grill place where the wonderful chef does all of the work in the open kitchen, so all you have to do is relax. The ingredients are top notch and the tastes are just so. Everything was cooked to perfection. Price was also very reasonable.

Pet-friendly to dogs and cats. They are very generous to the pets and they provided a very special dog-friendly birthday meal for our dog with birthday candle and all. Our cat also enjoyed her meal.

The food was great and the portions were rather large for the price point in Taipei in my opinion.

A hidden gem

Great 1st impression when you approach this outlet. The door is rustic. It opens into a huge dining area with space between clusters of tables. Good privacy.

The food is simply delicious. I strongly recommend the wayu beef and the fish roes with potatoes.

The service staff are efficient and friendly.
