Jinguashi Geopark — Attraction in New Taipei

It’s a simple trail leading to,what I believe, is an old mining site. The trail is easy; the gradation is not steep. While not suitable for strollers, it’s definitely walkable by everyone in the family. From the trail, you can catch a good view of the nearby landscape. You can also see some of the exposed earthen and rock formations in what I would guess is the abandoned...

It was such a place to hike. This Geopark is located in the north coast of Taiwan and the trail is well maintained. In no time you will be high up in one of the mountain and you will see the perfect view of Jiufen and Jinguashi. Not long ago (~75 years) this place is where the Japanese digged for gold. So this is why you can see misformed...

好走的步道、不長的時間、清幽的山林、壯闊的海景、特出的峰巒，令人心曠神怡！ 入口處有兩間洗手間，新、大、乾淨且友善，很棒！ 步道由碎石、石板、泥土交錯而成，全都平緩易行，即使中途出現一些石階，因每塊都寬大低淺，所以不需費多大力氣就能持續往上，又因這些整齊蜿蜒的階梯，別具風情，停下來拍個照，順便休息，可說一舉兩得！ 雖然豔陽高照，但是有林蔭的地方暑氣侵不到，十分涼爽；沒有林蔭的地方，也因山風陣陣吹來，穿透了衣裳，通體舒暢！ 由於天氣晴朗，沒雲沒霧，周遭景色盡入眼簾，茶壺山、基隆山、九份小鎮、東海……，都看得一清二楚，這種天氣來此，別嫌熱，恰恰是時候呢！ 除了林蔭、石階、名山、大海，步道上還有地景藝術一一基隆山，與它身後的本尊前後相映，挺有趣的。 步道上，還有一處著名的地景藝術一一本山礦場的「石頭陣」，本期待今天能看見，可惜它們在111年4月6日開始做水土保持時被搬了家，而預期在111年6月25日做完的工程，至今仍未竣工。儘管我們緊貼圍籬，眼巴巴地朝裡面望，也望不出個所以然，只好怏怏地離去。 幸好，後面的美景讓我暫忘了這件憾事。 情況是這樣的：從舊礦場往前走，片刻之後，沒路了，轉頭一看，右邊有一條木梯盤旋而上...
